Shipp's Corner Pet Spa & Resort provides professional grooming in our state-of-the-art facility. Our head groomer Joy has experience not only as a professional groomer, but also as a veterinary assistant. This combination of experience is key to a great relationship with your pet and to keeping them looking and feeling their very best. Having your pet regularly groomed can help to treat and prevent a range of skin, paw and ear disorders. Grooming also helps to prevent painful matting, excessive shedding and bad breath. We will be happy to consult with you prior to the salon session to discuss our services or to make grooming suggestions to ensure that you and your pet leave satisfied. We use the Hydrosurge® Animal Bathing System. Considered to be the premier animal bathing system, Hydrosurge® produces a vigorous, combining action spray of shampoo which penetrates through the thickest coats down to the skin which helps to remove deep-down dirt and dander. We are also an authorized FURminator® treatment facility. FURminator treatments are proven to reduce shedding up to 90%. Great for cats because it removes your cat's loose hair before ingestion. Allergy sufferers may breathe easier also, due to less hair and dander in the air you breathe.
All spa grooming rates are dependend upon breed type and coat condition. We encourage you to visit our safe, clean, and state-of-the-art grooming and bathing salon with your pet if you would like a quote.
We look forward to caring for your pet!
This treatment uses a special shampoo and conditioner which helps to strengthen the top coat while it loosens the undercoat. Then a special grooming rake is used after the pet is washed and blow dried with a force dryer to rake out theremaining undercoat. This service helps to reduce shedding by up to 85% with regular treatments (we recommend every 9-12 weeks...kiss that broom goodbye).
